Talk less about your plan, more about their victory. That’s how influence works.
Influence isn’t about arguing harder.
It’s about aligning smarter.
Before you pitch a move, a proposal, or a project, answer three unspoken questions:
1. How does this make them successful?
2. How does this reduce risk for their team?
3. What proof do you bring that you can execute?
Leaders don’t care about your enthusiasm until they see your alignment.
So, lead with their scoreboard — their targets, priorities, and pressures.
Then show how your idea helps them win their game.
Because when people see their success in your story, they’ll fight for your idea as if it were their own.
